Entries are now open for the 2012 SWUG Newspaper Awards recognising excellence in newspaper production in Australia and New Zealand.

This year, for the first time, a new category has been added allowing double width press users to enter the awards as well.

The award winners will be announced at the gala night dinner held during the 2012 SWUG conference.

Winner of the Flint Ink shield: NZ Aviation, Horton Media NZ (Goss Community)

Newsprinters Shepparton

Paul Kelly and Angelo Cirillo from Newsprinters Shepparton were runners-up and highly commended in two categories.
